Does anyone else think social networking thru the net is for sad losers?

I am not entirely sure of what you mean but if.... if you are referring to using the computer as a means to HOOK UP with someone, yes, it is sad.Yes, I have seen on television of success stories but REALLY.. if one looked behind the scenes, are they really success stories. I am adamantly against any type of "hooking up" using the Internet system. I am not a psychologist but feel that people who do that are insecure

No doubt there are people who think it is for losers. Others will think that it is another alternative to broaden your social / professional network. The digitally challenged will think it is a communist plot, and the holy rollers will think the devil is behind it. Yet others will no have the vaguest idea what is going on.





And then there are those who will think that anyone that asks such a question must be a jerk, really insecure, or bored, or (pick your derogatory adjective of choice).
